Georgia traffic laws must be followed while driving

On Behalf of | Sep 29, 2016 | Car Accidents

In our previous blog post, we discussed some traffic laws that Georgia has on the books that are aimed at keeping everyone on the roadways a little bit safer. As we mentioned, if you are in an accident with a driver who was breaking any of these laws, you might be able to use that information in your claim for compensation.

When you decide to seek compensation for the accident, you have to consider all of the circumstances surrounding it. The more information you have about the other driver’s actions and what was going on around both vehicles, the better your case might be. We can explore the circumstances with you to determine if and how they might impact your claim for compensation.

As we are looking into what happened, we can try to find out if the other driver was breaking any laws at the time. Was he or she wearing earbuds or on the phone? Was the driver distracted by passengers or eating something? Was the driver speeding or did he or she fail to yield? If so, those might be good points to bring up in your case.

We understand that your main focus is probably handing the medical aspects of your case. You need to make sure that you are getting the treatment that you need. You are probably also working to get any damaged property repaired or replaced. While you handle those duties, we can work on getting your case together so that you can seek the compensation you deserve.
