Ronald L. Hilley to Speak at Trial Advocacy CLE

Hilley & Frieder partner Ronald L. “Ron” Hilley will be speaking at the State Bar of Georgia’s upcoming Trial Advocacy Seminar on Friday, November 2. Ron is thrilled to join a roster of leaders in Georgia’s legal community, including attorneys at top law firms and the Honorable Alvin T. Wong, a DeKalb County State Court Judge.

Ron’s presentation is titled “Statutory Employers and Third Party Actions,” drawing on his extensive experience representing plaintiffs in workplace injury claims. In more than 40 years of advocacy on behalf of injured individuals, Ron has established himself as a leader in complex work injury claims and appeared as lead counsel in related matters throughout Georgia.

Event Details

The State Bar of Georgia’s Trial Advocacy seminar is worth six CLE hours, including one ethics hour, one professionalism hour and four trial practice hours. The seminar will run from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2. The program includes more than 10 speakers from Georgia’s legal community and a wide range of topics spanning jury selection, evidence at trial, ethics and high profile cases.

Historically, this program has been available by simulcast only. In 2018, for the first time in 15 years, the seminar will have live seating available in addition to being broadcast to CLE locations all over the state. The live event takes place at Atlanta’s Cobb Galleria Centre (Ballroom E). The satellite simulcast locations are:
