Ron Hilley brings decades of experience to cases involving injuries on the job. Mia Frieder works with clients who have suffered harm because of medical errors or other serious injuries. Their combined experience allows the firm to guide individuals and families through the financial and legal issues that may arise after an injury.
Their work often brings them into the lives of families facing difficult changes. A workplace injury, for example, can affect more than an employee’s health. It may also disrupt a family’s income and plans for the future.
Turning a milestone into support for families
The firm’s charity work reflects that connection to injured workers and their families. In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Hilley & Frieder has established the Hilley & Frieder Named Scholarship through Kids’ Chance of Georgia for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The firm’s $5,000 contribution also honors Ron’s 50 years as a member of the Georgia Bar. The scholarship recognizes the workers’ compensation community that has been part of the firm’s journey.
Kids’ Chance of Georgia provides educational scholarships to children of Georgia workers who suffered serious or fatal workplace injuries. By supporting this mission, Hilley & Frieder is extending its connection with injured workers beyond the cases it handles.
For Mia and Ron, the scholarship offers a way to mark five decades of legal work while helping the families at the heart of the workers’ compensation community.
